This website cannot see your room, know your health, or judge whether an object, pile, surface, or building condition is safe. Stop whenever something feels uncertain.
Do not use the tool for hazardous work
Stop and seek qualified local help when a job involves:
- unstable piles, blocked exits, structural damage, or anything that could fall;
- needles, broken glass, sharp metal, weapons, or unknown containers;
- gas, fuel, chemicals, medicines, batteries, electrical hazards, or fire damage;
- mold, asbestos, sewage, bodily fluids, animal waste, pests, or decomposing material;
- heavy furniture, climbing, overhead work, or lifting beyond your ability;
- documents, medication, mobility equipment, or property needed for legal, tenancy, financial, medical, or accessibility reasons.
Keep the job physically small
- Keep exits, stairs, heat sources, and electrical panels clear.
- Use good lighting and stable footwear.
- Keep children and animals away from active cleaning areas and bags.
- Do not mix cleaning products.
- Stop before fatigue, dizziness, pain, distress, or frustration makes the task unsafe.
When clutter is tied to distress or hoarding
A small-job prompt may help with a starting point, but it is not treatment. The More help page links to crisis services, housing counseling, hoarding resources, treatment locators, and professional directories.
Urgent situations
Call 911 or your local emergency number for immediate danger, fire, gas risk, medical emergency, blocked life-safety exit, violence, or immediate risk of harm. This site does not monitor messages and cannot dispatch help.
Your confirmation
Before the tool reveals a generated task for the first time, it asks you to confirm that you will use your own judgment, stop when something is unsafe, and seek qualified help when needed. That confirmation is stored only in your browser and is requested again when the safety version changes.
